Lunar Eclipse

Shot with a Canon 6D with the less glamorous 75-300 f/4.5-5.6 III. Set the lens on 300, manual focus, iso 6400, f/8 @ 1/4 sec. I shot several frames, but it was breezy and -4 degrees F., so I was motivated to get back inside to warm up. Not bad for a $56 lens from eBay...

Recent work (and reworking)

One never stops learning.  A few recent discoveries have pushed my post processing work up to a new level.  Post processing is the new darkroom... I used to spend many hours printing in the darkroom to yield a single usable print.  Today, my computer is my darkroom, and besides being able to sit comfortably with a cup of coffee in front of a computer screen, I can do so in the light of day at a much faster rate.  Here are a few of my recent shots and a rework of some older images from the archives.
